More about the Thai Island Temple Photos from Thailand

All the pictures on this page were taken with the Nikon D700 digital SLR and Nikkor 14-24mm F/2.8 lens.  The wide ultra angle lens not only allows you to fit more in each frame but most importantly allows you to get very close to your subject to achieve interesting and visually pleasing angles.

The pictures were also taken with the Canon Camcorder's built-in still camera which was more than adequate for general picture taking by mastering the settings but a digital SLR cameras are far superior for getting extraordinary shots, especially when the lighting is good.
